Job DetailsJob Details:
We are on the hunt for a dynamic, experienced and highly motivated Controller to join our fast-paced Finance team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of our company's financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, as well as the development of internal control policies and procedures.
This position will require the candidate to have a strong understanding of the finance industry and the ability to strategize for the financial future of the company.
Responsibilities:
1.
Oversee all company accounts and investments.
2.
Manage the preparation of all financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and reports on changes in financial position.
3.
Develop and maintain timely and accurate financial statements and reports in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
4.
Develop, implement, and ensure compliance with internal financial and accounting policies and procedures.
5.
Create monthly and annual reports to identify results, trends, and financial forecasts.
6.
Manage cash flow by tracking transactions and regularly reviewing internal reports.
7.
Supervise and manage financial department staff, including accountants and financial assistants.
8.
Suggest updates and improvements for accounting systems, including payroll and invoicing.
9.
Ensure that all statutory requirements of the organization are met.
10.
Plan, organize, and execute financial tasks and projects of varying complexity.
11.
Engage in ongoing cost reduction analyses in all areas of the company.
12.
Participate in strategic planning, fraud prevention, and budget development.
Qualifications:
1.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2.
Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant designation preferred.
3.
Minimum 5
years of proven accounting experience, preferably in a senior role.
4.
Strong understanding and knowledge of financial law and business practices.
5.
Solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.
6.
Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations.
7.
Proficiency in use of financial management software.
8.
Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office and financial reporting software.
9.
Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
10.
Strong attention to detail and ability to make sound decisions based on data.
11.
Ability to strategize and solve problems promptly.
12.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
13.
Strong ethics, with an ability to manage confidential data.
