Who we are looking for We are looking for a motivated individual to join our grape production facility team as a ssizer operator.
This is a full time, year-round position.
Candidates should expect to work a daytime schedule M-F approximately 6:
00am-2:
30pm, with plenty of opportunities for overtime.
Occasional Saturdays may be scheduled as needed.
Machine operators also need to set up and break down equipment daily.
Essential duties and responsibilities Start up inspection and preparation of Sizer, Dry belt, and related equipment Monitor Grading, finished product quality, cullage for adherence to specifications for each product Work with Production, Maintenance, and QC staff for safe and effective operation Demonstrate high levels of good manufacturing practices Adhere to all company policies and procedure including values, safety, attendance and standard operating procedures.
Keep area clean and organized at all times Perform other duties as assigned Must be able to take orders and follow directions Must be able to work any shift including possible weekends Must be able to work in a fast paced environment Must be able to work in a team environment Must have knowledge of manufacturing process and equipment Must have experience operating sizer/grader equipment Must be able to communicate with all levels of management Requirements Prior working experience in a Food Manufacturing setting required Must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer Must be able to read and write English Ability to work in cold environment (35 F) Must be able to stand and be on your feet for extended periods of time Must be able to work in a loud environment (PPE will be provided) Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds Good communication skills, both verbal and written Good observation skills Ability to follow a routine schedule and to handle numerous projects in progress at one time Ability to accurately follow instructions and take direction Ability to respond to frequently changing production pressures Preferred, but not required Bilingual (English/Spanish) Job Type:
